And if you’ve landed on this post, chances are you’re either ready to book those flights or you’re seriously considering taking to the skies for your Disney adventure.

Next you will need to decide which airport to fly to. Paris and the surrounding area has 3 International Airports to choose from.

So which one should you fly into for your Disneyland Paris holiday? Charles De Gaulle is the closest airport to Disneyland Paris, however all 3 Paris Airports are doable options. Below we look at where the 3 airports are located and how you can get to Disney from them.
CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT (CDG)
Located approximately 25 miles (40 km) from Disneyland Paris, Charles De Gaulle Airport is the closest airport to Disneyland Paris. It is also the largest and busiest of the Paris Airports.

If you are flying from North America, Australia or New Zealand or any other long haul flight then you are most likely to arrive at Charles De Gaulle and this is a convenient option for visiting both Disney & Central Paris due to its excellent transport links to both places.

How to get from CDG Airport to Disneyland Paris
There are 4 options of getting from CDG to Disneyland Paris:
Train Taking the TGV train from CDG is the quickest way of getting to Disneyland Paris. With a 10-12 minute journey you can be in the parks in no time.

While the RER train is usually the cheapest way to travel, it does take over an hour and involves a change of train which can be a little inconvenient.
Magical Shuttle Is a bus service that takes you from the airport and drops you off at your Disney Hotel plus other local Hotels.
Costing €24 each way for an adult and €11 for children aged 3-11 this is a great option for anyone not wanting to use public transport.
Private Transfers Are the easiest option as this is pre arranged before you depart but is usually the most expensive and if traffic conditions are good you can be at your Hotel in 45 minutes.
Taxi/Uber Taxis are available at the airport; you just need to follow signs for the taxi ranks. Taxis tend to charge around €70 – 90. Uber/Bolt would need to be booked on their app and work out slightly cheaper than using a taxi.
I have a full guide on how to get from CDG to Disneyland Paris here.
Pros and cons of flying into CDG
✅ It is the closest airport to Disneyland Paris
✅By taking the TGV train would offer you the quickest transfer of all the airports in around 10 minutes
✅It has the most available flights of all the airports so you have more options of choosing a timing that is more convenient for you.
✅There is an excellent choice of transfer options for getting to Disneyland Paris.
❌Being Paris’s busiest airport can mean it takes longer to get through security especially in peak holiday seasons
❌Price of flights can be more expensive into CDG.
❌Due to the size of the airport it can seem like a maze trying to find your onward transfer.
PARIS ORLY AIRPORT (ORY)

Orly Airport is approximately 31 miles (50km) from Disneyland Paris and is the second largest of Paris’s airports. In fact Orly is closer to central Paris than CDG but CDG is closer to Disneyland Paris. Orly caters more for domestic flights however it is still an International airport and offers flights from both the UK and Europe.
Where in the UK can you fly from to Orly?
- London Heathrow/Gatwick
- Southampton
- Edinburgh
As you can see there are fewer choices of airports you can fly direct from in the UK to Orly compared to CDG however with airlines such as Easyjet, Vueling and Transavia offering direct flights if you book early enough you can get some great fares.
How to get from Orly Airport to Disneyland Paris
Although there is no TGV service from Orly Airport to Disneyland Paris, therefore getting to Disneyland Paris by train can take a while longer. Nevertheless there are still good transfer options to get you on your way to the parks.
Train There is no direct train from Orly to Disneyland Paris so it does involve a change of train at Gare De Lyon. However this is your cheapest option with fares costing under €20 for an adult.
Magical Shuttle Yes this service also covers Orly Airport and costs the same too. Although the service does not drop off at as many Hotels as the CDG service it does serve all the Disney Hotels apart from the Davy Crockett Ranch.
Private Transfers Again this will be the pricier of all the transfers but the most convenient. With transfer times of approximately 45 minutes to an hour this is your speediest option.
Taxi/Uber Are available from the airport and while transfer times are the same as a private transfer you’ll have to factor in the time it takes to hail a taxi or book an Uber especially at peak times of day.
With prices not much less it might just be worth getting a private transfer.
Pros and cons of flying into Orly Airport
✅Flights can be cheaper especially if booked well in advance
✅As it is not the main airport in Paris for International flights you can usually get through security quicker which means your holiday starts sooner.
✅It is smaller and usually less busier than CDG so can be less stressful navigating your way around.
❌There is a fewer choice of flights from the UK meaning it might not serve your nearest airport and there is less of a choice of of flight times
❌Depending which transfer option you choose it can be more costlier and take a little longer
PARIS BEAUVAIS-TILLE AIRPORT (BVA)
This airport is located approximately 78 miles (125 Km) from Disneyland Paris and a 90 minute drive away so as you can see it is a lot further from Disney than the other 2 airports.

So why do people use this airport? This is because you have budget airlines such as Ryanair offering some very low fares which seem very attractive, however you would need to factor in the higher transfer times and costs to see whether it is worth it.
Where in the UK can you fly from to Beauvais Airport?
Ryanair offer direct flights from the following airports:
- Manchester
- Leeds
- Birmingham
- Belfast
- Edinburgh
How to get from Beauvais Airport to Disneyland Paris
By public transport While it is possible to use public transport I would only really consider it if you are on a tight budget, travelling solo or a couple, or in no particular rush to get to Disney.
Beauvais Airport does not have a train station so it does involve taking buses and changing onto trains and because of the long distance and multiple connections the journey can take anywhere between 2-3 hours. Although this will be the cheapest way to travel to Disney it is also the longest.
Taxi/Private Transfers This is your fastest option with a driving time of around 1.5 hours. While prices can vary from upwards of €150 they can work out quite reasonably if there is a group of you travelling then the costs can be split.
Even if you are a family of 4 I still think I would prefer this option than navigating the public transport system with kids and luggage.
There is no Magical Shuttle Service from Beauvais Airport. However there are other companies offering shuttle services and journey times typically take around 2 hours.
While prices are reasonable if there is only a couple of you travelling, for larger groups you might just as well use a private transfer.
Pros and cons of flying into Beauvais Airport
✅Low cost airfares
✅Getting through security faster
❌Longer transfer times
❌Fewer choice of flight routes/times
❌Costly transfers
TIPS FOR BOOKING FLIGHTS

- Use a flight search tool such as Skyscanner.
- Book early to get the best fares
- Be flexible with your dates & times
- If possible, compare prices from other airports. For example if you normally fly from Heathrow try checking Gatwick or Luton for cheaper fares.
- If convenient try flying out of one airport and returning to a different airport to get the best fares
- When pricing up flights some airlines charge for checked in luggage and booking seats. Consider these hidden extras if comparing to travelling by Eurostar for example as they do not charge for these extras.
TO SUM UP THE CLOSEST AIRRPORT TO DISNEYLAND PARIS
As you can see each airport has its advantages and disadvantages. To conclude Charles de Gaulle is the closest airport to Disney and has the quickest transfer time of around 10 minutes by TGV train.
Orly airport is usually less busy and ideal for anyone who doesn’t like long queues and large crowds.
While Beauvais Airport is worth considering if the fares are substantially lower than flying into the other two airports as transfer costs will be more expensive due to the longer distance.
Personally I would favour CDG or Orly Airports to arrive at purely for the convenience and the quicker transfer times.
I hope this guide on the closest airport to Disneyland Paris will help you to start planning your trip soon.
